Detailed description (English): The event started with the presentation of examples of bike-friendly business programmes from a couple of cities.
It was followed by a discussion about what advantages could exist for Aveiro's local businesses of a higher bicycle modal share, and what local businesses could do to help that share to increase.
The discussion then followed to whether a bike-friendly business programme would make sense in Aveiro, and if shop owners were interested in creating and participate in such programme. The overall response was quite positive, with shop owners saying explicitly that they would like to have such kind of bike-friendly business programme in Aveiro.
Then some few details about how such programme could work and how shop owners were willing to collaborate were discussed.
At the end, the contest of shop fronts 'Aveiro, city of business on bicycle' winners were revealed and prizes given.

To strengthen synergies between local business and bicycle mobility.
