Detailed description (English): Within the framework of this round table, it is proposed to discuss the following issues:
• The current state of road safety and the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) until 2030 in the conditions of the Republic of Uzbekistan
• The need to develop a Strategic Policy for the long term and the adoption of ambitious targets for reducing deaths and injuries on the roads of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Unfortunately, the adopted documents do not take into account the 12 global targets developed by the World Health Organization to achieve SDG target 3.6.
• Compliance with today's legislation, norms and standards for infrastructure design, modern trends and realities.
• Opportunities to use research experience and financial resources of international partners to improve road safety in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
• The need to create a database of ongoing accidents, allowing you to build a causal relationship. Take into account the positive experience of the International Transport Forum (ITF) and the Asia Pacific Road Safety Observatory (APRSO).
• Educational program and enlightenment.
• Global promotion of road safety
Detailed description (original language): В рамках круглого стола предлагается обсудить следующие вопросы:
• Текущее состояние безопасности дорожного движения и Глобальные цели устойчивого развития (ЦУР) до 2030 года в условиях Республики Узбекистан.
• Необходимость разработки Стратегической политики на долгосрочную перспективу и принятие амбициозных целей по снижению смертности и травматизма на дорогах Республики Узбекистан. К сожалению, в принятых документах не учтены 12 глобальных задач, разработанных Всемирной организацией здравоохранения для достижения цели 3.6 ЦУР.
• Соответствие сегодняшнего законодательства, нормам и стандартам проектирования, современным тенденциям и реалиям.
• Возможности использования исследовательского опыта и финансовых ресурсов международных партнеров для повышения безопасности дорожного движения в Республике Узбекистан.
• Необходимость создания базы данных о текущих авариях, позволяющей выстраивать причинно-следственные связи. Принять во внимание положительный опыт Международного транспортного форума (ITF) и Азиатско-Тихоокеанской обсерватории безопасности дорожного движения (APRSO).
• Образовательная программа и просвещение.
• Глобальное продвижение безопасности дорожного движения с помощью средств массовой информации.
