Detailed description (English): This event represents an occasion to promote alternative modes of transport, with mobility managers, including going by foot, bicycle, with public transport, sharing the car.
The reduction of costs in the urban context and accessibility to different groups of users represents one of the moral foundations of sustainability, recalled by the encyclical of Pope Francesco Laudato 'si'.
First part of the Day: the urban context of the demand for mobility and mobility manager area.
Second part: company and institution mobility management.
Third part: mobility management and cycling mobility.
It is the occasion to present the Charter of proposals for structural support to the mobility management, which was recently presented to the technical municipal table on mobility.
There is also a poster session to introduce pilot projects and good practices of mobility management from companies and institutions.
Target group(s): company, institution and schools mobility manager of the city
Objectives: The Network of Mobility Managers of Rome, which includes Mobility Managers of numerous public administrations and companies present on the territory aims: disseminate initiatives concerning mobility management and sustainable mobility, convey the good practices, formulate proposals for initiatives or projects, find partners for joint initiatives.
The Network has a constant and active relationship with the mobility of area (Roma Servizi per la Mobilità), in order to allow activation of the strategies of mobility management on zone/quadrant and for kind of institution/company in a metropolis as complex as it is Rome.
Expected Outcomes: Open a dialog with the Municipality and Region and submit shared requests on more sustainable mobility
