Detailed description (English): Don't come to school by car! Make a change and try something else!
The students and teachers were challenged to arrive at school without their cars.
On foot, by bike, on a skate, everything counts to help our environment.
All the students were asked to fill in a registry on how they usually come to school
Those who came with an alternative means of transport got a round of applause and a sticker with the words : "I'm changing the world"
The next day we posted information on how much did we all save the environment relating to money, CO2 and other important information.
We want to show the students that even a little change is better than no change at all and that many small changes can make difference.
Target group(s): Students between the ages of 12 to 18
Objectives: Create awareness to the mobility theme, show that we can all make a dfference, even if it is very small; make students understand the importance of small gestures;
We expect our students to be aware of the Car Free Day and to relate to the enviromental issues
Expected Outcomes: We expect to reach our students, teachers and families.
