Detailed description (English): The first action of this public transport campaign is to take place on the 22nd of September, having non-public transport users as a target public, and intends engage new users (or that haven’t used regularly PT for more than 12 months) to public transport.
This campaign includes all public transport operators (both public and private, and by road, rail or ferry) of the metropolitan area of Lisbon, that joint together in a common action for the promotion of PT and to change the way people travel.
AML, assuming its responsibilities as Transport Authority for the metropolitan area of Lisbon, intends to launch other campaigns for the promotion of PT in the future, being this the first Step for a Better Mobility in AML.
Target group(s): Non-public transport users - new or that haven't TP used regularly for more then 12 months.
Objectives: Increase the regular use of public transport.
Expected Outcomes: Increase the regular use of public transport. A media conference will take place on the 14th of September. Campaign supports will be produced to be put in different places of the metropolitan area of Lisbon, such as important hubs, public transport, etc.
