Detailed description (English): - Organizing thematic #30 Critical Mass ride.
- Organizing thematic #2 Children Critical Mass ride.
The city of Bitola lack having basic bicycle infrastructure which along with missing safety measures make riding bicycle pretty unsafe. BitolaNaTocak work to raise the awareness and boost the city efforts so in a while we can have basic bicycle infrastructure (lowering the pavements entrances, bike lanes, etc.).
Target group(s): The main target will be schools students, local decision makers and the citizens for the first action and kinder gardens and primary schools for the second action.
Objectives: - Inclusion of all active bike lovers (individuals and those from various clubs)
- Collaboration with “onBike” initiations from other cities
- Animation and encouragement of all generations of citizens of Bitola to switch to a more sustainable way of transportation
- Change of awareness in public institutions for reviewing the design of public space and road infrastructure in order of better serving the citizens
- Encouragement of the business community to increase the level of social responsibility through support of projects for sustainable transportation and reduction of pollution in Bitola.
Expected Outcomes: We expect over 100 people to join the ride + over 100 kids for the children event.
