Detailed description (English): The Center for the Environment (national coordinator for the European Mobility Week) in cooperation with the initiative of the citizens of Banja Luka Critical Mass, and with the support of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, is organizing the Banja Luka bicycle ride this year - the nineteenth in a row.
This year, due to the circumstances caused by the Covid-19 virus pandemic, the ride will take place in a different form:
- there is no gathering place, but all participants join the ride (which has a defined route) in places that are in the closest location where they live, work, or are at a given time
- there is no police escort (everyone takes care of their own safety and the safety of other participants in riding but also all participants in traffic)
- the route is circular (clockwise), ie all participants circle it as many times as they want in those hours of cycling (length is about 5 km, which means two to four laps, depending on riding speed)
- at two locations (small parking lot behind the Museum of Contemporary Art and extension next to the bike path on the western transit) there will be volunteers with boxes where you can enter and insert numbers for drawing in the prize game (numbers are received by e-mail / viber, after registration )
Registration of participants for the prize draw lasts until 22.9. until 15.00, and is done via this link: https://forms.gle/sV7zh34sDDQzvxwn9
