Detailed description (English): In the last 20 years, Banja Luka has experienced a great expansion of the construction of residential and commercial buildings, while Urban Plan of the city was not developed yet, and very often the area of plans for construction was very closely scrutinised by regulatory plans. In all this chaos of construction at every step and on every surface, traffic has suffered the greatest negative impact. Public surfaces, walking and bicycle communications are ruined, devastated, degraded and for now there is no plan for their revitalisation.
At the round table besides the representatives of associations dealing with the issues of persons with disabilities, discussion were held with traffic inspector of the Banja Luka Police Directorate Milan Salamadija, Head of Traffic Department at the Department of Transportation and Roads Slavko Davidović, the representative of the Agency for Safety of Transport RS Milan Ilić, Acting Head of the Office in Department for Utility and Housing Affairs Petar Bilčar and Acting Inspectorate Janko Kecman.
This year's activities on the occasion of EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK have been supported by the Heinrich Boll Foundation, the EU Info Center BiH and the UDAS RS amputation organisation.
