Detailed description (English): At PwC, we care about a sustainable future for our people, communities and the environment. That’s why we’re organising PwC Mobility Week. From 16-20 September 2019, we‘ll be featuring a variety of initiatives throughout our offices to help our employees find the sustainable mobility solution that’s right for them. It’s a great opportunity to start the conversation about alternative transportation and test innovative solutions.
Mobility week activities:
Alternate means of transportation will be showcased throughout the week, but the aim is to make a long-term, positive impact. We have a host of initiatives lined up like bike demos and repairs, electric car trials, public transport passes to give away and more!
* Carpool sheet
We’ve created a carpooling Google sheet so our employees can take the opportunity to come to the office with their colleagues!
* eBikes
Colleagues will get the chance to discover all the mobility possibilities offered by eBikes and foldable bikes (in combination with car and/or public transport). They will also get the opportunity to get a pre-check (assessment) of the condition of their own bike.
* Cars
Our colleagues will get the chance to test drive one of our PlugInHybrid vehicles or fully electric cars that are part of our car policy or may be soon!
They will get more insight into hybrid/electric technology, including the pros and cons.
* Tips for colleagues
Sharing commuting tips is good fun and can help colleagues save precious time. In a shared sheet, colleagues can easily share their tips and tricks to help others make the most of their commute.
* Work remotely!
Traffic jams in Belgium aren’t getting any better, and long commutes can be tiring. One year ago, PwC introduced the basic right to work from home.
Target group(s): Our people
Objectives: We want to make our colleagues aware of all sustainable mobility solutions available to them and help them find what is right for them. We hope to make a long-term, positive impact on how our people see mobility.
Expected Outcomes: Change in commuting and mobility habits
