Detailed description (English): ETUI organises a lunch time information session. The event is called 'Bike-Hacking' and focuses on tips and tricks to help employees who want to cycle to work, and encourage those who still have some doubts about commuting by bike.
We will collect testimonies from employees about:
Where to get cycling equipment.
How to be protected from rain and wind.
What type of clothing works better and is comfortable.
What to choose: panniers or backpack.
Experiences with folding bikes or e-bikes.
How to be seen when it’s dark.
How to be protected form air pollution.
What happens if you have an accident.
The idea is to learn from our own experiences and help each other for a better commuting.
Target group(s): European Trade Union Institute
Objectives: Help employees who want to cycle to work safely, comfortably and with a smile on the face.
Expected Outcomes: Get as many employees as possible, collect a pool of ideas about better cycling to work, collect cycling materials and have it at work.
