Detailed description (English): Meath County Council has agreed to a 6 month trial with GoCar, the shared car service in County Meath, the pilot will be launched to coincide with EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK (16-22 September). Go Car is a car sharing initiative, anyone with a current drivers licence can register and then use the cars on a pay-per-trip basis, 24/7, 365 days a year this allows users the freedom to access a vehicle where and when they need it. Further information on the scheme is attached and available at the following link https://www.gocar.ie/
As part of the pilot, GoCar will deliver 1 car to each of the following 5 locations – Ashbourne, Kells, Navan, Ratoath and Trim. A second car will be considered for Navan should there be sufficient uptake of the service.
