Vícar organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

Comienzo del XII Curso de Educación Vial de Vícar, con sesiones informativas y prácticas, en la que participan los nueve centros de educación infantil y primaria; cuatro centros de educación secundaria y dos de bachillerato. Entre los objetivos que se marca esta iniciativa esta el desarrollar hábitos de uso de transporte colectivo, ecológicos y sostenibles.

Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
Señalización vertical peatonal iluminad; nuevos pasos de peatones con captafaros.

Improvement and extension of the public transport network (creation of HOV lanes for public transport modes, new stops, new lines, reserved areas etc)

Car-free day Car-free day

Vícar carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Bulevar de la Paz, Avda. Pintor Ginés Parra, un tramo de la Avda. Pintor Cristobal González Soto, Calle Rosa, Calle Aguamarina, Calle Olivina y varios tramos de la Avda. del Guadalquivir y Camino de los Metaleros. En este circuito tendrá lugar una actividad con escolares de varios centros del municipio de Vícar, que este día acudirán a sus colegios en bicicleta.
