All week
European Mobility Week and the European Car Free Day campaign offered the citizens of Moravská Třebová an interesting use of their leisure time during the actions of some of the partners to the Healthy Town project in September 2006. The message of the campaign is the fact that even easy decisions, which can be adopted by all of us in our daily life, can on a global basis result in significantly helping the Earth’s climate.
On Tuesday 18 September, interested individuals had a chance to take a common walk through historical town parts focused on the removal of barriers. On that day, a public discussion on problematic locations in the town’s traffic took place. On Wednesday 20 September, children competed in the Competition for Pedestrians and Cyclist, of which an important part was how children perceive the campaign, what their most frequent means of transport are and which traffic issues bother them.
