The Council's travel plan includes various permanent measures which have been implemented this year. For example, covered bike shelters, motor bike parking bays, lockers, car share spaces, pool bikes have all been provided at the offices since the launch of the travel plan. In the coming year, the Council also hopes to provide financial incentives such as cycle mileage payments, VAT free purchase of bicyles and interest free loans for season tickets on public transport.
