Sundbyberg implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Permanent measures:
- A new bus stop close to a supermarket, which makes it easier to go to the supermarket and other stores nearby without a car.

- A continous work with the children´s way to school, including "Walking schoolbus" has started and will keep on.

Car-free day Car-free day

Sundbyberg carries out a Car-Free Day 2006 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
