Car-free day
Zalau carries out a Car-Free Day 2007 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
The restricted zone will be a part of the Mihai Viteazu Bd., aprox. 600 meters. It is the main bulevard of the town, which crosses the town from one end to another, the most frequented and poluted street.
