Car-free day
Žilina (City of Žilina)
carries out a Car-Free Day 2007 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Street Veľká Okružná (section of the street next to the hotel Slovakia) - one of the most frequent city road crossing the possible pedestrian zone connecting railway station with historical downtown and Vlčince residential area.
