Eskilstuna organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2007, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
1. Vad innebär “Levande gator” för dig? Artist målar det du tänker.
2. Utställning om ett ombyggt torg, Rådhustorget, med fler träd, ny belysning, lägre trafiktempo, minskat buller och luftföroreningsutsläpp. En ny mötesplats.
3. Seminarium på temat ”Shared space”
4. Gåvor till fotgängare, cyklister och busspassagerare (pocketbok, frukt m m)

Car-free day Car-free day

Eskilstuna carries out a Car-Free Day 2007 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
The main part of the city centre.
