90 000 people will through their employers be encouraged to travel to and from work without driving a car during the mobility week. The 30+ largest employers in Göteborg have taken on a challenge from the City o Göteborg, to participate in the action. Employees register their commitment on the web site www.nyavagvanor.se. Each employer can set a goal for how many colleagues will sign up, and the result is public, which will create a competative atmosphere between participation companies, and with the City of Göteborg. The employees represent close to a third of all employed in Göteborg. The action has a potential to significantly reduce emission from car transports during the campaign week, and also hopefully in the future, when more people discover alternatives to drive a car to and from work.
