London Borough of Southwark organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2011, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Organising a ITWYC event at an estate in Peckham SE15. This is also to promote newly installed secure cycle lockers at 2 estates in the area.
Organise a series of Dr Bikes on housing estates
Launch a schools project which takes up to 30 children, per school, to the Herne Hill Velodrome for track and mountain bike riding
Launch a 'Mobility advice' project utilising a vacant shop in a key shopping centre
Launch walking maps centred on doctors surgeries
We are still working on a project to load a pedelec bike to a local doctors surgery.
Organise cycle training sessionsfor members of the Bengali Community
Support the local Free Film Festival with Dr Bike and temporary cycle parking
