The focus this year in accordance with the theme of Alternative Mobility will be on the promotion of Electric Vehicle options in Dorset. There will be opportunties for members of the public to try out electric cars and electric bicycles. The idea is to promote electric vehicles as alternative to conventional powered vehicles.

In addition this year's European Mobility Week will see the launch of a traffic free cycle route linking Weymouth and Dorchester.

There will also be Active Travel stands around the county in accordance with the County's commitment to promoting healthy travel options, offering active and healthy travel as an alternative to sedentary travel.
