Municipality of Mynämäki in Southwest Finland has decided to support national telework day by letting one of its premises to be used as a rural coworking space for a day. The aim of the day is to introduce the concept of coworking to teleworkers and self-employed people in the area, and to let them feel what are the benefits of having a work related community around them.
Anyone who is interested in the event is allowed to visit the coworking space during the day and see what coworking is all about. At the end of the day there will be a seminar which will included speakers from HUB Turku, Åbo Akademi, and Municipality of Oripää. In addition, key findings will be presented from a study that has found ten preconditions for sustainable rural coworking in Southwest Finland.
The event is organized by the local entrepreneur association and VALONIA - Service Centre for Sustainable Development and Energy of Southwest Finland.
