22. September: European Car-free Day on Andrássy Avenue with Bikers' Prom, PT Prom, Mobility Prom, GreenTech Exhibition, TeARTrum theatre festival, manu-art fair.

Budapest carries out a Car-Free Day 2012 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
16. September
Dózsa György street: one of the main roads of the City, with 6 trails, a tipical urban 'motoway'. The closed area 1,5 km long.
Hősök Squere: the symbolic centre of the City, with the Arch of Heroes and Kings.

22.September, Andrássy Avenue: one of the historical main road of Budapest, the Treasure of World Heritage, with 6 trails, a tipical urban 'motoway'. The closed area 2,5 km long.
