Madrid organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2013, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
- Sharing and promoting Madrid City Air Quality Plan with social agents
- New regulation aimed to stop engine idling during stops shorter than two minutes and bus line headers
- Linking of the air quality information system with the new mobility information services

Madrid implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
