Ávila organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2013, taking into account the annual theme.

Un año mas la ciudad de Ávila se adhiere a la Campaña Europea "La Ciudad sin mi Coche", y el domingo 22 de septiembre se celebra en Ávila el “Día Europeo sin coches”, este año centrado en el tema horizontal “¡Muévete por un aire mas limpio!.

Conscientes del desafío que supone la celebración de un día sin coches, la adhesión de nuestra ciudad a este proyecto europeo, una vez más, se presenta como una iniciativa que intenta frenar los problemas de movilidad urbana, de contaminación atmosférica y de ruido, proponiendo reducir el uso del vehículo privado y fomentando la utilización de transportes públicos, así como los desplazamientos a pie u otras alternativas.

Se persigue estimular un comportamiento ciudadano compatible con el desarrollo urbano sostenible, aumentando así la calidad de vida en el medio urbano y el disfrute de nuestra ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad.
