In 2013, Ogden City has approved funding for the construction of a new bike path and a new bike lane.
The new bike path will be constructed from the Ogden Intermodal Center to the Ogden River Parkway. This will connect the commuter rail station and bus hub to the river and trail system. Construction will begin in 2013.
The new bike lane will be constructed along Grant Avenue, from 25th Street to the Ogden River Parkway. This will create an important connection from downtown Ogden to the river and trail system. Construction will begin in 2013 or early 2014.
Car-free day
Ogden carries out a Car-Free Day 2013 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
25th Street will be closed to private vehicles from Washington Boulevard to Wall Avenue.
