Crikvenica has very favourable microclimate characterised by clean air and mild climate. It also has a 120 year-old weather bureau which is currently being modernised and is used to read weather data which are communicated to the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological service. We dedicated the first day of the EMW, Monday, to be "Clean Air Day" - elementary school children will have a field class and come to the weather bureau where they will learn about Crikvenica's microclimate, the history and functioning of the weather bureau and importance of ecological lifestyle in order to keep air and our town clean. On Tuesday, the citizens are invited to donate seedlings and help make their town greener. Also, the communal company donated Mediterranean plants which will be used for expansion of greenery around schools and the kindergarten. On Thursday, children will have their gym classes in open air all-day-long. Saturday and Sunday are days for walks. Nordic walking will be presented by professional trainers. Presentation of Zumba fitness will also take place outdoors.
