Mosfellsbær organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2013, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Encouraging inhabitants to use environmentally friendly methods of transportation through media information.
Organizing a bicycle ride around town to visit the many hidden wonders of the town.
Organizing a bicycle ride together with other municipitalities in the metromolitan area in connection with "The day of icelandic nature".
Working with schools on a program to encourage pupils and teatchers to walk or cycle to school/work.
Participation in a conference on the advantages of cycling as a public transport, called "Cycling to the future".
Working with the main public transport company on projects encouraging people to use public transports/busses more frequently.
