The main measures related to the theme of this year is the focus on electric mobility and bicycles. Some information seminars on the new challenges of electric mobility: taxi, fleet, distribution of goods, an exhibition of different models of electric vehicles and the introduction of charging points for electric vehicles. About the bicletas, movement courses for primary school children and adults. Bicycle repair shop. Mobility center jobs, installing a new service item marking bicycles and ciclocalles for commuting by bike

Car-free day Car-free day

Ponferrada carries out a Car-Free Day 2013 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Restricted traffic area is the center where the highest concentration of traffic in the city. It is a central location at the confluence of the main traffic routes. The area will be open for public transport, bicycles and emergency vehicles
