Rīga (Riga) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
No 15.09 līdz 19.09. „Bike to work”. Kampaņas ietvaros būtiski veicināt velo transportu kā ikdienai piemērotu ceļā uz darbu, skolu vai citās gaitās. Katru darba dienu, iepriekš minētajos datumos un vietās, laikā no 8 līdz 9, pulcēsies velo draudzīgie uzņēmēji un citi velo aktīvisti, kuri riteņbraucējiem pateiksies par to ikdienas pārvietošanās izvēli.

18.09. „Ērenpreiss pagalma svētki” - velo sezona turpinās! Svētku ietvaros velodraugiem sarūpēts koncerts, našķi, darbosies velo tirdziņš . Svētku ietvaros būs kau kas jauns un inovatīvs JAUNO Ērenpreiss velosipēdu modeļu prezentācija!!!!!

20.-22.09. „Nemierīga? Traki mierīga!’ Miera ielā tiks izveidota velojosjas makets

20.09. Mežaparka ielu svētki, kur tiks slēgta iela Stokholmas ielā no Gustava Ādolfa kafejnīcas līdz Stendera ielai.

Car-free day Car-free day

Rīga (Riga) carries out a Car-Free Day 2014 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Aktivitāšu norisei izvēlētas trīs vietas, kur pēc pēdējo velosipēdistu skaitīšanu datiem konstatēts vislielākais minēju skaits – uz Vanšu tilta, VEF tilta, kā arī Skolas un Lāčplēša ielu krustojumā.
