New 30 km/h speed limit streets
During the early months of 2014, after the first intervention (via Imbriani and Bixio street of 2010-2011) more 30 km/h roads have been set up in Garibaldi Street, Road XXII luglio and Route D'Azeglio. The actions are part of a broader project of "traffic calming" (zones 30, walkways protected and raised, etc..) aimed to mitigate vehicular speed mobility and promote pedestrian and cycle.

Installation of electrical recharging devices
In March 2014 charging stations for electric cars have been installed. The project was approved by a special resolution of the City Council (No. 690/2013) which identified the location of the devices themselves (Borgo San Vitale, P.le Rondani-Oltretorrente, via Monte Altissimo-RAILWAY STATION, via passo Buole-CITADEL, via Spinelli-(EFSA).
The project is part of the actions taken by the city to improve the environment and human health in view of reducing atmospheric emissions due to vehicular traffic.
The installation of charging infrastructure follows the signing, which took place in March 2013, the Memorandum of Understanding on electric mobility between the City, Region, AEM and Enel Distribution Distribution - Iren Group with the aim of adopting measures for the promotion and encouragement the use of eco-friendly vehicles, through the creation of a network of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles innovative, safe and easy to use.
The Memorandum of Understanding on electric mobility has been the first step in the development of electric mobility in the Municipality of Parma, also in relation to the larger project of electric mobility promoted to Emilia - Romagna involving the municipalities of Bologna , Reggio Emilia, Rimini and Piacenza, Cesena, Forli, Ferrara, Ravenna, Modena and Imola.

New bike sharing stations
In the month of September 6 new Bike Sharing stations will be installed in Parma, adding to the existing 15. New intermodal railway station with bus / taxi and new ZTL (Traffic Restricted Zone)
The new station of Parma was inaugurated on 6/5 U.S. It has changed from a structural point of view and renewed as regards the various services associated with it. The road organization of the area is completely new.
From a structural point of view, the new station has been completely redone. It develops two floors and a mezzanine, which divides it from the large underpass that connects the south to the north of the city via the avenues Falcone and Borsellino. The station will be reached mainly by the underpass where transit buses, taxis and private vehicles. The underpass is connected to the new office of the mezzanine floor with escalators and elevators. From there you can reach the sidewalks of arrival and departure of trains with a system of fixed ladders and lifts connected to individual tracks. The square is also reached with fixed stairs, escalators and elevators, always within the structure. On the ground floor, takes place a large space with commercial functions. The new station represents a point for intermodal excellence by providing a quick connection to the local public transport, taxis, private cars, bikes and motorcycles. From the underpass of the new station will pass a dozen bus lines (1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 20 and 21, and ready 2N buses), taxis have access to a reserved area in the basement , as well as have been provided stalls for the short parking for people with disabilities. In front of the station, on the square, there are about sixty stalls and for racks for 200 bikes that are in addition to those existing in the Velostazione still active (about 400 jobs). In Via Monte Altissimo there are two stalls for car sharing and two devices for electric vehicle charging. The intermodal station will be accomplished once concluded work on the suburban bus terminal in the square north, where, in the lower part is planned to open a multi-storey underground car park with 250 seats, both will be ready by the end of 2014. to the north of the station, next to the new hotel which insists on the square, there is also a private parking for hotel use and about 300 parking spaces.
