Калининград (Kaliningrad) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

The UNDP Project is developing, together with the Kaliningrad Administration, an Integrated Public Passenger Transport Development Scheme for the Period until 2020 that takes into consideration for transport support tasks during the World Cup 2018. The objective is to improve the traffic service system for the city population and to ensure a stable operation of public transport. As part of this work, the population’s transportation requirements will be surveyed, demand for passenger transportation during the World Cup 2018b events analyzed, the state of the public transport system, an integrated public transport development scheme until 2020 worked out, proposals on ensuring stable operation in order to reduce GHG emission developed, etc.
