All busfares free on Car-free day 22nd September, in the Capital area.

Car-free day
Reykjavik carries out a Car-Free Day 2015 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Sumargötur áfram, þ.e. Laugavegur frá Vatnsstíg og Skólavörðustígur frá Bergstaðastræti lokaðar f. bílaumferð. Eins Pósthússtræti og Austurstræti.
