1) Bicycling tour from Reykjavik city to Mosfellsbaer in celebration of start of EMW and combined with a bicycle conference held in Mosfellsbaer.

2) Bicycle conference – Bicycling for the future 2016.
A whole day conference on sustainable transportation and bicycling,held in Mosfellsbaer, in cooporation with municipalities in the metropolitan area and regional bicycle organizations.

3) Inauguration of a new bicycle trail from downtown Mosfellsbaer heading north of the town towards Mount Esja, an extension of a new biketrail from Mosfellsbaer to adjacent Reykjavik city, set down in 2013 and finalized 2014-2015, in order to facilitate urban sustainable mobility.

4) Opening of a new big world cup pump track bike setup for children for bicycle, BMX and scateboard users.

5) BMX-Program for children at main square with BMX bicycle experts showing tricks on their bikes and temporary bicycle ramps put up on the main square for BMX and scateboard enthusiasts.

6) Dr. Bike sets up a repair garage at the main square to assist residence in repairing their bikes.

7) Bicycle maps distributed to all swimmingpools and sporting facilities, and put on the the town´s webside to encouraged residents in Mosfellsbæ to take advantage
of a wide range of biking trails in Mosfellsbaer.

8) A map showing the 15-minute walking radius and 6 cycling radius from the center Mosfellsbaer introduced to encourage people to walk or bicycle locally.
