The participant is committed to:

Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme.
Actions relative to the theme:
Awareness stand at John Macintosh Square providing information and advice on sustainable mobility
Daily articles in the local press on mobility issues
A dedicated 'Viewpoint' programme on the theme of 'Smart and sustainable mobility'
Social media campaign highlighting benefits of alternative forms of transport
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
The section of road beginning at the southern end of Main Street (from John Macintosh Hall) all the way to the Haven on Line Wall Road (encompassing Convent Place, Governor's Lane, Secretary's Land and Lover's Lane).
