Participation 2016

The participant is committed to:

Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme.
Actions relative to the theme:
21st of September: Many train stations do not have adequate bike facilities. Passagerpulsen wants to change this.

In collaboration with the Cyclist Union they are arranging an event at Copenhagen Central Station from 12-2 PM, where you can participate in a vote about which issues passengers in Copenhagen prioritize the most.

After this you can meet the chairman of the Cyclist Union, Klaus Bondam, and the chairman of Tænk (Passagerpulsen is a part of this organization), Anja Philip.

The event will conclude with the results of the vote and discussions being taken to DSB (Danish State Railways) and Copenhagen Municipality.

The event is arranged by Passagerpulsen and the Cyclist Union.
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
