Activities within the week

Ålesund (Alesund) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2016, taking into account the annual theme.

Mock up bus station and temporary redevelopment of urban spaces around the mock-up bus station.

In collaboration with a senior high school in the city and two very creative archtiects and builders, we will explore concepts of waiting, collective travel and connection, in a creative temporary installation. The installation is a form of prototype of a new street terminal which is planned in the city centre. The city and the county are collaborating wiht local businesses and creative people to test the potential for a new and better terminal for collective travel during European Mobility Week.
