3. A drawing competition for primary school pupils on the theme "Move smarter, live better!" is announced in the educational institutions of the Dagda district. Children can be creative in any format to show the world how you see traffic safety, road to/from school, how you see the SECURE traffic, and how you can move without a car, etc. From 20th September in the educational institutions will be viewed the exhibition of drawings. Parents will be able to look at this topic by the eyes of the child and, if necessary, to discuss unclear issues.
4. During the mobility week there will be created a map of bicycle rack to invite people to choose a bike instead of a car. It will be available on the homepage of Dagda district municipality, on the homepage of the Dagda district Tourist Information Center and in public places. It will be useful for everyone who moves daily by bike or want to ride a bike. People will get to know where you can easily and without problems to place the bicycle. As well as it will be determined where else it is needed to install bicycle racks. This card will also serve as a reminder to residents that we can preserve the environment, save money and live healthier by moving with the bicycle. Whereas the Dagda district municipality is a member of National healthy municipalities’ network, therefore, it promotes a healthy lifestyle.
