Cartagena implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Car-free day Car-free day

Cartagena carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
En el Área Urbana Central, las zonas correspondientes al Casco Antiguo y Polígono del Ensanche, se adoptarán restricciones al tráfico de vehículos privados.
La medida se realizará los días 21 y 22, al coincidir el día 22 con una fiesta local, lo que condiciona la efectividad de la medida del "día sin coches".
