Gijón organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
1.- Presentación Oficial de la SEM (medidas permanentes; foro de la movilidad; portal de movilidad: eliminación retranqueo y pasarela ciclopeatonal).
2.- Parking day (organizado por La Dinamo).
3.- Exposición de fotografía "Objetivo sin barreras" (organizada por COCEMFE).
4.- Marcha ciclista (organizada por Asturies Conbici).
5.- Gijón Bus&Ride (organizado por 30 dias en bici).
6.- Tour guiado historia de Gijón (organizado por Asturies Conbici)
7.- Talleres infatiles, organizado por la Empresa Muncipal de Transporte Urbano (EMTUSA).
8.- Presentación proyecto europeo SHOTL.

Gijón implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Car-free day Car-free day

Gijón carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Cierre de las calles Libertad, Donato Argüelles, Asturias, Langreo, Fundición y Gerónimo González. Además se cerrará Av Rufo García Rendueles entre Menéndez Pelayo y Domínguez Gil.
En estas calles se desarrollarán diferentes actividades a lo largo del día: exposición de vehiculos electricos: ITBICIS; muestra del libro ciclista; Gijón Bus&Ride.
