Tivat organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
- 16 September - Ecological class for elementary school children about fires, and beginning of afforestation of the area of the victims in the fire. After that, there is a cleaning of the Pecka beach, and a seabed in front of the beach (along with divers). Actions will be implemented in cooperation with "Protection and Rescue Services Tivat", "Lustica Bay Montenegro", elementary schools "Drago Milović" and "Branko Brinić", "Komunalno Tivat", diving clubs "Neptun" and "Arsenal", NGO "Zero Waste", NGO "Teserakt" and others.
- 17 September - Hiking tour on mountain paths of beautifull landscape of Vrmac hill. Actions will be implemented in cooperation with UNDP Montenegro, hiking clubs "Squirrel" and "Subra", NGO "Napredak", basketball club "Pro Basket", youth club "Omladinski klub Tivat" and others;
- 18 September - Excursion to the National Park "Lovćen" with primary school children. Actions will be implemented in cooperation with elementary school "Drago Milović" and "Tourism Organisation of Tivat".
- 19 September - Biking tour arround city parts and throughout city streets. Actions will be implemented in cooperation with thriathlon clubs from Kotor, Herceg Novi, Nikšić, Podgorica and Tivat, basketball club "Pro Basket", youth club "Omladinski klub Tivat" and others.
- 20 September - Poetry on a bicycle, action will be performed on few frequent locations, beginning on the Pine promenade in downtown. Action will be implemented in cooperation with NGO "Škart".
- 21 September - in the moorning - Planting ornamental trees with students in yards of elementary school "Drago Milović" and high school "Mladost". Action will be implemented in cooperation with "Komunalno Tivat".
- in the afternoon - Parking day - closing one city public parking and performing large number of different acticivities. Actions will be implemented in cooperation with "Parking Servis Tivat", "Komunalno Tivat", youth club "Omladinski klub Tivat", NGO "Teserakt", chess club "Mimoza", "Aikido Academy", hiking club "Squirrel", community Health Centre, scouts from Tivat, basketball club "Pro Basket", Red Cross Tivat, elementary schools from Tivat, "Knightsbridge School International Montenegro", "Arcadia Academy" and others.
- 22 September - Car-Free Day event - closing part of "II Dalmatinske" (part near Municipality, in downtown) street to trafic and opening it to cyclists and children of the first grade of elementary school. A competition in the skill of mastering the traffic arena is planned, followed by awards for the most successful competitors. Actions will be implemented in cooperation with Secretariat for Youth, Sport and Social Issues of Municipality Tivat, elementary schools "Drago Milović" and "Branko Brinić", kindergarten "Bambi", "Komunalno Tivat" and others.

Car-free day Car-free day

Tivat carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
- Car-Free Day event will happen on 22 September by closing part of II Dalmatinske street to trafic, and opening it to cyclists and children of the first grade of elementary school.
