Activities within the week
Zeytinburnu, İstanbul organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2018, taking into account the annual theme.
16 September
1) Cycling training will be delivered to people who cannot use bicycle in the district square for free to increase the use of bicycle.
2) The municipality will organize cycling event under leadership of Zeytinburnu Mayor MR. Murat AYDIN, with invited prominent cyclists, , municipal personnel including administrative stuff and people of Zeytinburnu in the streets of Zeytinburnu, with invitation to members of Union of Municipalities of Turkey and European Commission approximately 10 km determined track to raise awareness on bicycle use as public transportation. At the end of the tour, one bicycle and bicycle accessories will be distributed to participant citizens to the tour.
17 September

2) Bicycles will be distributed to municipal personnel to use as mean of transportation in the district regarding their duties trip.
18 September

Car-free day
Zeytinburnu, İstanbul carries out a Car-Free Day 2018 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
58 Bulvar avenue is one of the landmarks in Zeytinburnu and to draw more people's attention to cycling, the avenue will be closed to car traffic from 50/1 street to end of the avenue.
