Bitola organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2019, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
DAY 1 - 16.9.2019.
WORKSHOP 1– PAVEMENTS AND CROSSWALKS TO SCHOOLS ARE FOR CHILDREN, NOT VEHICLES
- Promotion of ZONE 30
With this activities, WE WILL INTRODUCE SCHOOL MOBILITY UNITS that will help us in this process of educating and informing pupils and their parents/guardians on how to find the safest route to get to school and back home.

DAY 2 - 17.9.2019.
WORKSHOP 2 - TO provide a safe infrastructure for pedestrians, the elderly and persons with disabilities (designing of creative pedestrian crosswalk (LOCATION No1) - permanent and visually attractive) - By closing the street for traffic for about 6 hours,
WORKSHOP 3- Near the crosswalk we plan PERMANENT CLOSING OF SQUARE PARKING IN THE CITY CENTER, BY SETTING THE TABLES for playing chess and backgammon.

DAY 3 - 18.9.2019.
WORKSHOP 4- Promotion and presentation on fluorescent design cloths details and jewelry (fluorescent details for pedestrians and bicyclists).
19 September
DAY 4 - 19.9.2019.
WORKSHOP 5 - TO provide a safe infrastructure for pedestrians, the elderly and persons with disabilities (designing of creative pedestrian crosswalk (LOCATION No2) - permanent and visually attractive). Furthermore, we plan to protect crosswalk surrounding from illegal parking with architectural and building elements - By closing the street for traffic for about 6 hours .

DAY 5 - 20.9.2019.
WORKSHOP 6- TO provide a safe and continuous bicycle infrastructure (LOCATION No1) – visualization, as well as rehabilitation of two from the three bicycle parking lots near Javor, At Pazar and the Officers’ Hall that were promoted last year.
21 September
DAY 6 - 21.9.2019.
WORKSHOP 7- TO provide a safe and continuous bicycle infrastructure (LOCATION No2) – visualization, as well as rehabilitation of third bicycle parking lots near Javor, At Pazar and the Officers’ Hall that was promoted last year.
22 September
DAY 7 - 22.9.2019. World Car Free Day - Carrying out a Car Free Day by closing the primary street network to traffic, and opening it to cyclist
WORKSHOP 8 – The same day we plan the rehabilitation of three bicycle parking lots near Javor, At Pazar and the Officers’ Hall that were promoted last year.
