Mioveni organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2019, taking into account the annual theme.
16 September
Info Campaign: "EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK IN MIOVENI"
Flyers and brochures about the European Mobility Week will be distributed to the people in order to promote more eco friendly means of transportation such as bicycles and
walking. Also there will be articles published in the online media about the event as it is happening in Europe and how we are a part of it.

19 September
The main access road in the city, Dacia Boulevard (DN73D) will be closed to all vehicles in order to promote walking as an alternative means of transport.
20 September
"One day without your car" - All the employees of the Mioveni City Hall will come to work using other means of transport than their personal cars.
11:00 - Running competition "Run with us!" - at the city's picnic area. The goal of this event is to increase the number of people that participate in sporting activities and thus increase their willingness to walk more than just take their personal car everywhere.
21 September
An exhibition of pictures and videos taken at the "Run with us" event will be organized at the ground level of the Mioveni City Hall.
22 September

Car-free day
Mioveni carries out a Car-Free Day 2019 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
