Kadıköy, İstanbul (Kadikoy, Istanbul) carries out a Car-Free Day 2019 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Bağdat Street, which is
-one of the most popular street for shopping and recreation
-an attractive location for both residents of İstanbul and the tourists
-a main 4-lane axis carrying a heavy traffic load and providing the connection among the central areas in the transport system of the Anatolian side of the city (İstanbul)
is going to be closed to traffic.
