Throughout the week, residents have the opportunity to compete for two inflatable helmets (Hövding) by describing their "smartest cycling trip".

We will combine Park(ing) day with the Mobility Week. We will take four parking spaces in the city and instead have cargobikes, folding bikes and bicycles with bicycle carts parked there. We want to show how and for what the space could be used if cars was'nt present.
We will also hand out give-aways, offer free bicycle service and talk roadsafety for unprotected people (walking and biking).

Together with several local- and some national actors, the municipality of Västerås invites inhabitants to a digital conference with a broad focus on Sustainable Communities and Sustainable Mobility. We will talk about mobility management, electric cars and their charging infrastructure, the inflatable bicycle helmet (Hövding), energy and climate advice and diferent forms of car sharing.

The municipality of Västerås will present the implemented activities during mobility week at the Swedish Transport Administration's national conference Green Light.
