Sibiu organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2020, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
promotional activities regarding the European Mobility Week 2020 campaign, and its purposes.
17 September
promotional activities regarding the European Mobility Week 2020 campaign, and its purposes.
18 September
Car free zones: the Small Square, Centumvirilor Street, Arhivelor Street and Schiller Square will be restricted to car traffic, starting 18 September, 8 a.m., until the 20 September, 8 p.m.
Short cultural happening, in the Schiller Square (car free zone) - an artist will play at a small piano and then the trespassers will be invited to play themselves (the piano keys will be properly disinfected, after each use)
19 September
Car free zones: the Small Square, Centumvirilor Street, Arhivelor Street and Schiller Square will be restricted to car traffic, starting 18 September, 8 a.m., until the 20 September, 8 p.m.
Short cultural happenings in the car freed areas:
Street Guitar on Centumvirilor Street, in the Schiller Square and in the Small Square
A quartet will play in the Small Square and two pairs of ballet dancers (from the Sibiu Ballet Theatre) will dance by the music.
2 competitions that are meant to promote a sustainable transport among all group ages children and adults
1 Competition for children up to 14 years old, in the Sibiu Zoo, where the participants have to walk on two specific routes in the Sibiu Zoo. By posting the fotos with all the interest points on the 2 routes, on a public Facebook post, and using #MobilityWeek and #zoosibiu, the children can win a 2 wheel scooter, if they are selected as winners (selection through MiniWebtool).

1 competition for persons over 15 years: the participants have to ride a bicycle, or a two wheel scooter, through Sibiu, where they have to find minimum 5 tourist attractions, from 7. By posting the fotos with all the interest points, on a public Facebook post, and using #MobilityWeek and #sibiumobilityweek, the participants have the chance of winning a bicycle, if they are selected as winners (selection through MiniWebtool)

Free access on public transport from 8 a.m., to 8 p.m.

Free access at the Zoo and at the ASTRA Open Air Museum, for those who come by bicycle or by two wheel scooter.
The people that want to walk towards the Zoo and/or the Open Air Museum, will have free access, by presenting at the entrance the invitations distributed by the City Hall of Sibiu, at the Tourist Info Point of the City Hall.
