Castanet-Tolosan organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2021, taking into account the annual theme.
16 September
Outdoor cinema with Cinécyclo organization - the citizens will pedal on a bicycle to activate a generator and hence project short films on a screen.
17 September
Local organization "Ressources" organizes a Parking Day.
Cartography workshop with Ressources, local organization in Castanet. The citizens will be questionned on their habits as far as trips on foot or by bike are concerned.
Various quizzes and games will be proposed. The organization will also present their new bicycle school.
18 September
Morning: Public transportation will be offered on horse carriage from the city center towards the local farmers market. Two alternative circuits will be proposed to serve at best all citizens. This activity will be performed by Attel'toi organization
Afternoon: Horse carriage tours will be offered to discover the historical heritage of the city. This activity will be performed by Attel'toi organization
Afternoon: hikking in the old city is proposed with Randoxygene, local organization in Castanet
Afternoon: orienteering by bike, while walking or running to discover new trails freshly inaugurated by the municipality
19 September
Citizens are encouraged to favor sustainable mobility throughout the week
20 September
Conference Rallumons l'Etoile, which is a project to promote transportation by train in the greater Toulouse area.
The idea is to give the citizens a broader view of the initiatives outside, but close to Castanet-Tolosan, from which they could benefit.
21 September
Bicycle repair workshop and creative workshop around the reuse of old inner tubes is organized by la Rafistolerie, a local organization in Castanet.
22 September
Road safety workshop for kids is organised by the municipal police officers.
