Parma organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2021, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
Municipality of Parma / Infomobility, throughout the European Week of Sustainable Mobility:
GREENAPES APP - By participating in the initiatives in the city during the European Week of Sustainable Mobility, you can accumulate many reward points on the greenApes APP: download the app and scan the QR code that you will find at the various events !!
Furthermore, until the end of September, a new Special Challenge is active that rewards the sustainable mobility choices available in the city: to complete it, it is sufficient to demonstrate two behaviors on the greenApes app, choosing between walking / cycling, use of public transport, carpooling. , use of scooter, car sharing, bike sharing services. Lots of reward points up for grabs!
GreenApes is the free online platform that rewards people with eco-sustainable behaviors and lifestyles. To participate, simply download the greenApes application on your smartphone: for example, you can automatically earn points simply by walking and cycling, using public transport and sharing services or by carpooling for home-work trips. MUNICIPALITY OF PARMA - European Thriving Streets Project:
10:30 - 12:30 - 'Go Beyond' talking walk: exploratory visit to rethink mobility and public spaces in Oltretorrente. How can urban mobility improve the attractiveness, livability and accessibility of the Oltretorrente? Let's talk about it during a walk to tell what is there, what is not seen, what we would like there to be.

Car-free day Car-free day

Parma carries out a Car-Free Day 2021 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Strada Bassa dei Folli will be closed to motorized traffic on saturday 18th of september.
A cycling promenade organized by Municipality and FIAB (Friends of Bicycle Federation) will take place along the road
