Sancaktepe, İstanbul organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2021, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
Promotion of European Mobility Week in schools and public spaces in our district. Reducing carbon emissions and taking attention to global warming. Raising awareness by focusing on a topic for each day of the week.
17 September
Giving information on the importance of our district within the scope of the European Mobility Week 2021 Theme Sustainable Transportation, Healthy and Safe Mobility
18 September
Walking to schools for a car-free day and encouraging cycling with gifts and rewards.
19 September
Since it is Sunday, sports and walking activities are carried out throughout the day in our district with the slogan of "Move Together".
20 September
On the first working day of the week, with the title of "Walk to the Future with Health", we encourage walking for short distances in our district, especially the employees.
21 September
Taking attention to safe mobility with students, especially around schools and pedestrian crossings, with the title of “Notice Me”.
22 September
On the last day of the European Mobility Week, we invited everyone in our district, students, young people, the elderly, children, employees, housewives, and closed the streets and bicycle tours and walking activities were organized.Events were held in a festive mood with titles such as “Pedal to the Future”, “Walk to the Future with Health”, “Move Safely”.For the purpose of EMW, attention was drawn to Sustainable transportation and the contribution of movement to health.At the same time, emphasis was placed on "Safe Mobility".Awareness was created with a wider participation by combining the activities focusing on a single topic throughout the week in this last event.
